Petit 140 mm – is useful alternative to big chef’s knife, in the moment when you need precise cuts or for example for cutting green beans or another smaller vegetable and fruit. They are suitable also for larding or cutting meat. Rounded edge of the knife allows slight swinging during cutting. Its sharpness is ideal to prepare sandwiches of any kind. Suminagashi (damascus) KIYA knife Petit 140 mm has extra sharp cutting core made of Japanese steel Takefu V special grade 2. It has very good sharpness of the edges and an excellent retention. It is capable of reaching high level of hardness up to 61 HRC, without being fragile. At any price, avoid bending, collisions, and lever-action.
Octagon handle is made of Sandalwood. It is always thoroughly polished, ergonomically shaped, and designed for excellent manual operating. This knife is suitable for right-hand-use as well as for left-hand-use.

Never wash the high-quality knife in the dishwasher! This steel is not stainless! After using, rinse the knife, dry it with napkin or kitchen towel and store it in safe place.
