Crafted in the heart of Seki, the Japanese capital for sword-making for over 700 years, Yaxell knives encompass genuine mastery based on traditional craftsmanship that has been passed through the ages.

Elevated with advanced technology and a unique heat treatment technique, the Yaxell Ketu Chef’s Knife is clad with three layers of high quality Damascus steel that has been hammered by hand, producing the gorgeous embossed pattern you see along the surface of the blade.

It also features an elegant black beech pakkawood handle that is smooth and comfortable to hold, as well as highly resistant to damage and exposure to moisture.

Has a blade core made of ultra-hard SG2 powdered stainless steel with micro carbine distribution for exceptional sharpness and lasting cutting edge
Core is clad with three layers of high quality Damascus steel hammered by hand
Heated in a very hot kiln, ice hardened, then tempered for in high temperature, to make the blade tougher and highly resistant to corrosion
Features an elegant black beech pakkawood handle that is highly durable and resistant to damage
Perfectly balanced by a solid forged stainless steel end and bolster seamlessly welded to the blade
