CHAMPAGNE
The Champagne glass is designed for various sparkling wines from doux to demi-sec to brut. The tall, slim glasses which most people use today for drinking champagne are called a flute. In addition to its decorative appearance, the flute’s long stem ensures that the champagne stays cool as you can hold the glass without affecting the temperature of the drink.
The elongated shape of the bowl means that the wine keeps sparkling for longer. It also looks visually appealing seeing all the bubbles rising to the top inside the glass.
This glass is suitable for sparkling wines such as champagne, crémant and cava, and other dry (brut) or demi-sec versions as well as the mild and lightly sparkling Asti Spumante.
