The base ensures that the kettle takes up a minimum of space on the kitchen surface. Removing limescale and cleaning are also easy as the filter can be removed. A white light next to the on/off switch indicates whether the kettle is switched on, while the easy-to-read water level indicator shows how much water is in the kettle. The heating element is concealed, and the kettle switches off automatically when the water starts to boil to protect the kettle from boiling dry. The kettle is not dishwasher-safe.
